Emotional Intelligence, Education and the Brain Dec. 5, 1997 - The Art Institute of Chicago Syllabus (PDF) As the fourth in a series of symposia focusing on the relationship among learning, crreativity and brain function, Emotional Intelligence, Education and the Brain: A Symposium, underscored the importance of considering emotional intelligence in the education of our children and in our daily lives. Our series began in 1988 with Art and the Brain: A Symposium and Art Exhibit, followed by Music and the Brain in 1992 and Sports, Dance Movement and the Brain in 1995.
