Music and the Brain Nov. 16-18, 1992 - The Art Institute of Chicago  Syllabus (PDF) As the second in a series of symposia designed to explore the bases of creativity which began in 1988 with Art and the Brain: A Symposium and Art Exhibit, the primary goal of this symposium was to stimulate interdisciplinary cooperative research concerning the possible relationship between musical ability and neurologic functioning, particularly at the cognitive level.
